An 8-year-old boy in Coniston was attacked by his neighbour’s dog while playing soccer with his friend on Friday afternoon, KZN.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa, they received a call for assistance at about 16:27, and on arrival, it was established that a Staffordshire bull terrier charged at one of the kids after the owner opened his driveway gate.

“The boy fell when he was bitten on his right arm. “Residents screamed for assistance when the cannie retreated,” said RUSA spokesperson Prem Barlim.
The injured boy was treated for his injuries before he was transported to a medical facility by the owner of thue dog.
