Mampintsha faced cyberbullying before he died

Mampintsha had faced a series of cyberbullying by his fans, with some of them asking him to change his stage name. The bullying, which was a result of the Kwaito star’s sudden weight loss, was said to have begun after Big Nuz hinted at a reunion earlier this year. Fans believed that he was rather unfit to be called that name, as Mampintsha in isiZulu refers to a chubby-built person who takes up all the space. Sboniso Nzimande said, “You need to come up with a new name for yourself now.” The Mampintsha has become “loose.”

 

Nhlanhla Mdanda said, “Change your name to Maxega now.”

 

Fanelwe Mkhwanamubi said: “If getting married leaves you like this, the whole concept can rather miss me.”
