Mampintsha’s mom, Zamanguni Gumede Hospitalised after collapsing

Zamanguni Gumede, the mother of South African musician, Mampintsha has reportedly been hospitalized after being excluded from her son’s burial ceremony.   Recall that Mampintsha passed away on Christmas Eve, in 2022, a few days after having a stroke, and his mother, Gumede, cried out, alleging that she was not allowed to see her son’s body.   It’s no news that the Babes Wodumo’s and Mampintsha’s families have been each other’s enemies for a long time, with the duo burying the hatchet in the recent season of the couple’s reality show, Uthando Lodumo.   According to Ezivuthayo Emaputaland, the Mampintsha’s mother collapsed after not being included in her son’s funeral arrangements.

“Mampintsha’s mother reportedly collapsed when she saw the completion of the funeral plans without being informed. Mampintsha’s mother, Zama, suddenly fell down and was rushed to KwaMashu CHC by ambulance. It is said that her heart was hurting after she saw on TV that the funeral plans for her son were concluded, and she suddenly collapsed. She asked why she was not involved,” wrote Ezivuthayo Emaputaland.

  Speaking on the date for the funeral ceremony, Babes Wodumo’s family revealed that the funeral will be on Friday and they are still searching for the venue with the help of the government as mampintsha was an ‘icon’ in KwaZulu-Natal. “We are planning to have the memorial service on Thursday at the ECC church, Pastor Vusi Dube’s church, and it will start at 11 a.m.Everyone is welcome to come to that memorial service; the public is also welcome because we are celebrating the life of Mampintsha,” said Babes Wodumo’s father.
