A 29-year-old Qheberha woman was arrested for the alledged murder of her 38-year-old boyfriend following an argument.
It is said that the couple had an argument at about 01:30 on Saturday morning (August 27, 2022) at a house in Debe Street, Wells Estate.

According to reports, it is alleged that the woman took a knife and stabbed the man in his neck. The man succumbed to his injuries on the scene.

The woman was arrested outside the house and is expected to appear at Motherwell magistrate’s court on Monday, August 29, 2022 on a charge of murder.
The name of the deceased will be released as soon as his next of kin has been informed. The motive of the murder is yet to be established as investigations are underway.
