Mampintsha has reportedly been hospitalised after suffering a stroke. The musician left many disappointed over the weekend after his band, Big Nuz, didn’t pitch up for any important shows over the weekend.
According to reports, the stroke came as the star missed an important ritual he was supposed to do at his family home. Daily Sun reports that the 40-year-old was first admitted at King Edward Hospital in Durban before being transferred to Durdoc Hospital in Durban Central.
According to Pinki, Mampintsha’s sister, they received a call to rush to his house on Saturday, December 17, 2022, and on arrival discovered that he was very sick and his speech was already affected.

Mampintsha is said to have consulted a traditional healer (Sangoma) who told him a traditional ceremony needed to be done and requested his family buy a goat for the ceremony.
The star didn’t show up to the ceremony and informed his family to go ahead with the ceremony; days later, he suffered the stroke.
South Africans have since sent in their well wishes to the star, wishing him a speedy recovery.
