L’vovo Derrango’s record gave confirmation that he only suffered a minor stroke and was getting better. However, this was not enough to stop the fake news of his death. Despite statements released by L’vovo’s record label addressing reports concerning his death, news about his death has continued to spread. The Derrango label released a statement on Christmas day. “This notification serves to dispel the trending rumours that he has passed.” This is untrue and grossly hurtful to his family. “He is still hospitalised and making excellent progress.” Read Also: Mampintsha has dies after suffering a stroke

The star’s record label dispelled death rumors

The record label also pleaded with the public and media to desist from spreading “hurtful rumours” and requested privacy for L’vovo and his family. “Lvovo Derrango suffered a minor stroke during his performance at Ndwedwe on Friday. He is admitted [to the hospital] for medical attention, and he is responding very well. “We kindly ask that you keep him in your prayers, and we’re confident that he will come out of this difficult situation stronger,” the statement further read. Musicians like Zakes Bantwini and Prince Kaybee sent their best wishes to L’vovo. Prince Kaybee wrote in a tweet: “Speedy recovery to Mr. Lvovo; it has indeed been one hell of a year.” L’vovo was hospitalised after an accident that nearly took his life in May. According to Drum Magazine, the singer had an operation for hip replacement after the accident. “I had dislocated my hip.” I couldn’t walk [because] the hip was moved, and they had to replace it. I had an injury to my right knee and a knot on my left. “I have bruises on my face, and the airbags hit me on the ribs, causing injuries,” he stated. He got discharged on June 2 to continue his recovery at home.
