The father is on the run after raping his five-year-old daughter.
A KwaZulu-Natal man is on the run after he was caught red-handed raping his five-year-old daughter in Tongaat on Sunday night (09 October 2022).
According to the child’s mother, 37, she was asleep in her home when her intoxicated husband arrived. Her twin son and daughter and son were also in bed with her.
She informed Reaction Unit South Africa that when she woke up, she discovered her husband raping her daughter when she forced him off the child and he began assaulting her before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

It is further alleged that the mother made several calls for assistance at the time of the incident but sadly received no help and thereafter contacted a teacher from her daughter’s school who called RUSA for assistance.
A female RUSA member is said to have interviewed the child, who confirmed that her father forced himself onto her. The girl and her mother were transported to Tongaat SAPS to register a criminal case.
