Eastern Cape – Police in Sterkspruit are investigating a case of murder and an inquest docket after a 33-year-old man allegedly killed his girlfriend before committing suicide.
It is said that Sterkspruit police were called on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at about 13:00 to the Entsimekweni admin area where they witnessed a tragic scene.

Body discovered after her boyfriend killed her before committing suicide.
On arrival, they found a 23-year-old deceased woman with multiple stab wounds on her upper body. On further investigation, the body of the 33-year-old male was found in the bedroom where he committed suicide.
According to reports, it is alleged that the two were living together. The acting District Commissioner, Brig Asogran Naidoo, has since condemned this tragic incident.
In another unrelated incident, a
32-year old man was handed a life sentence for the murder of his girlfriend and the attempted murder of her suspected lover earlier this week.
