39 year old tuck shop owner shot and killed on his way home

A 39 year old KZN tuck shop owner was shot and killed while walking to his house in Buffelsdraai on Friday night (14 August 2022). It is said that Reaction Unit South Africa responded to the scene and found the man lying in a pathway and was fatally injured after he was shot in the face. According to the deceased’s girlfriend (31), they were walking home after closing the tuck shop when they realized they were being followed by four unknown males. The female dropped her handbag and fled on foot, but when she returned to the scene in search of her boyfriend she found him dead on a pathway. The deceased’s backpack and her handbag were missing, the woman was not injured.
