64 year old man murdered his own son in Kwanobuhle | IspotDaily

Eastern Cape – A 64 year old Kwanobuhle man allegedly murdered his 35 year old son on Saturday (09 July 2022) appeared at the Kariega magistrate court today. It is said that the elderly man at approximately 18:55 had an argument with his son. The man then went to  his bedroom and came back with his licensed firearm which he used to shoot his son twice. The  victim then ran out into the street and collapsed. He was then taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

“The suspect was arrested at the hospital while he was also receiving treatment. His second son (39) assaulted him with a brick after hearing of the shooting”. Said Colonel Priscilla

The elderly man’s 9mm’s firearm and a case of murder is currently being investigated.
