29-year-old woman arrested for the murder of her Fiance | IspotDaily

Eastern Cape – A 29-year-old woman was arrested and charged with murder for fatally stabbing her fiance (34) in the early hours of Sunday morning ( 19 June 2022) in Elephant Park, Qheberha.

It is said that at approximately 3am the couple had returned from a party when an argument broke up between them, which led to the suspect ordering her fiance to leave.

It is alleged that the deceased started assaulting the suspect during the physical altercation and in response was stabbed in his chest and back and succumbed to his injuries at a clinic.

The woman was then arrested on the scene and is expected to appear at Motherwell Magistrates Court on Monday (20 June 2022).It is said that the next of kin of the deceased haven’t been informed.
