KwaZulu-Natal – Two taxi bosses were executed in a drive-by shooting in Area 1, Mslasini, on Monday morning.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa, residents contacted them after hearing a series of shots being fired. Some of the callers were able to confirm that two people had been
shot, but the extent of their injuries couldn’t be confirmed.

“Reaction Officers and RUSA medics were immediately dispatched, and on arrival, they discovered the
bodies of two men on the side of the road. “They sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were declared
deceased by medics,” said RUSA.
The deceased were confirmed to be taxi owners by witnesses and are said to have been talking to each other at the Mhlasini taxi rank when the occupants of a white Ford Ranger fired shots at them.
An investigation is currently underway.
