Two teenagers,19, injured in a drive by shooting

KwaZulu-Natal – Two 19-year-old teenagers were injured in a drive by shooting shortly after leaving a tarven in Cottonlands Lands on Friday night, October 01, 2022.   It is said that at about 21:55, a white Toyota Quantum drove into Reaction Unit South Africa’sReaction Unit South Africa’s Headquarters with the injured males. One of the teenagers is said to have sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his back, abdomen, and right arm, while the other suffered an injury to his head.

According to the teens, they were traveling in their bakkie after leaving a tarven when they realized that they were being followed. The suspects who were following them sped up, and the occupants of the vehicle opened fire on them.   The teens then veered off the road and crashed their bakkie, fleeing on foot into a bush and hiding from their attackers. The teens left the bush after some time and sought assistance from a resident who transported them to RUSA’s HQ for assistance, where they were stabilized before being transported to the hospital by ambulance.   The teens were traveling in the direction of Ndwedwe when they were attacked.   Pay Attention: Follow IspotDaily on Facebook for more updates
