Two killed in a drive-by shooting in Dawncrest, KZN

Two KwaZulu-Natal men were fatally injured following a drive-by shooting in Dawncrest on Sunday afternoon (August 28th 2022). It is said that Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received multiple calls from residents reporting high-calibre gunfire in Oaklands Drive near Dawncrest. “Available  Reaction Ofiicers were dispatched to investigate at approximatey 16:34. “Reaction officers located a bullet riddled white Toyota Fortuner that collided into a boundary fence,” said Rusa. Read Also: Qheberha woman arrested for the alledged murder of her boyfriend. According to RUSA, two men who sustained multiple gunshot wounds were located inside the vehicle. RUSA medics arrived on the scene and discovered that both men had succumbed to their injuries. It is believed that the suspects were driving a white or gold Toyota Fortuner. The motive for the murder has not yet been established.
