Qheberha man hands himself over for allegedly murdering his girlfriend

Qheberha – A 39 year old man who is allegedly responsible for the murder of his girlfriend has handed himself over to the police. It is said that on Monday (11 July 2022) the suspect and his 40 year old girlfriend were drinking together and later engaged in an argument. It was then that the suspect assaulted his girlfriend with a plank on her head. It is said that after the argument the two went to bed and the suspect left the house on Tuesday morning, but when he came back around 6:30pm he found that his girlfriend was still in bed and was unresponsive. It is said that the suspect along with his brother reported the incident to Kwadesi SAPS. The suspect was arrested on charges of murder and is set to appear at the New Brighton Magistrates Court on the 14th of July 2022.
