KwaZulu-Natal – A 18 year old teen along with his 28 year old brother were arrested by Reaction Unit South Africa’s (RUSA) officers for the murder of a 21 year old following a dispute over borrowed clothes.   It is said that the suspects confronted the victim who was known to them to hand over a pair of jeans which he borrowed. The victim then refused and insisted that they bring a pair of shoes they borrowed from him, then only he would hand over the jeans.   “The elder suspect grabbed the victim and pinned him to the ground when his teenage brother stabbed him in the chest”. The suspects then fled on foot and the victim died on the scene.   RUSA’s members arrived on the scene and interviewed a witness who then provided a clothing description of the suspects. The 18 year old suspect was arrested a kilometer away from the scene, hiding in an outdoor toilet whilst his elder brother was apprehended by community members.     The suspects were then handed over to the South African Police services in Ndwedwe and a case of murder is being investigated.
