Pietermaritzburg man arrested for triple murder | Ispot Daily

A 29 year old Pietermaritzburg man was swiftly arrested following a triple murder that occurred on Monday night (27 June 2022), the arrest comes after a relative found his 3 family members lying on the floor with strangulation marks on the neck and bruises. It is said that the 65 year old grandmother was murdered and her 46 year old daughter along with her 08 year old granddaughter were allegedly raped and strangled to death. According to reports, police questioned people in the area and were led to a 29 year old male who was last seen with the deceased, police then headed over to his house to get more information that could assist with the investigation but were left shocked as they found him in blood stained clothes. The male failed to provide a satisfactory answer and was arrested and is set to appear at the Pietermaritzburg Magistrates Court soon.
